A Victorian Skeleton Halloween Photoshoot | Rock Your Rebellion Orlando Dark Glamour Studio

Halloween is my favorite excuse to go all in on creativity and this year’s session was no exception. Our latest Halloween photoshoot fused eerie skeleton special effects makeup with Victorian-inspired dark glamour, creating a hauntingly beautiful portrait experience unlike anything else.

The Concept: Victorian Elegance Meets the Afterlife

When I started dreaming up this Halloween session, I wanted something that blended dark elegance with a touch of the macabre. Think vintage gothic literature meets high fashion editorial.

My makeup team brought the concept to life with full skeleton SFX makeup, complete with stark bone detailing that contrasted perfectly against fiery red hair. The result? A striking, ghostly beauty that looks like she stepped out of another realm.

To tie it all together, I styled the session with Victorian-inspired fashion, a layered black satin gown, feathered collar, and a top hat I customized myself with a floral and raven skull arrangement. The aesthetic was both timeless and haunting.

The Details That Made It Magic

Every creative session at Rock Your Rebellion is built on storytelling through styling and set design. For this shoot, I:

• Hand-altered a vintage-style birdcage to give it a more weathered, mysterious look

• Styled the set with old books, a candelabra, and an aged trunk to enhance the moody atmosphere

• Added my own touch to the top hat with a handmade floral and raven skull arrangement, tying together elegance and decay in the most beautiful way

• Lit the scene dramatically to highlight every texture, from the shimmer of satin to the intricacy of the makeup
