Our Client Closet: Curated Just for You

One of the highlights of our portrait experience is the Client Closet, a dreamy collection of flowing gowns, handmade crowns, and carefully curated pieces in many sizes. Whether you're going for witchy, goddess-like, vintage-inspired, romantic, gothic, or somewhere in between, we’ve likely got the perfect look waiting for you.

Your wardrobe options include:

  • Wearing something personal you love.

  • Mixing your own items (like a corset or lingerie piece) with studio styles.

  • Letting me style you entirely using our closet collection.

No matter which you choose, I curate outfits that photograph beautifully and flatter all body types. Many larger-sized pieces are clipped or tailored to fit, because feeling good should never be limited by a tag.

What Colors Work Best for Photos (and Why)

Here are some tried-and-true color guidelines that help any outfit look stunning in your photos:

  • Black – Timeless, flattering, and undeniably striking on camera.

  • White – Surprisingly flattering across most skin tones, especially with the right lighting and set.

  • Jewel Tones – Think deep emerald, rich ruby, dark amethyst, and sapphire. These add depth and mood without overpowering and complement our studio lighting beautifully.

  • Muted Tones – Soft dusty rose, muted blue, sage, champagne, or vintage mustard... these elegant hues won’t cast color onto your skin.

Avoid overly saturated or neon shades, like hot pink, bright red, or bright coral. They often reflect onto skin and disrupt the overall tonal balance of your images.

If you’re unsure what will work best, you’re never alone in figuring it out. I’ll guide you through outfit choices, whether pulling from the Client Closet or styling your own pieces. This is a collaborative, creative experience, and my goal is always the same: to make you feel empowered, confident, and absolutely radiant!
